The United States scores 6 out of 10 across more than three dozen "health system indicators." This scorecard, put together by the Commonwealth Fund, assesses our country's health care in terms of "health outcomes, quality, access, equity, and efficiency, comparing national averages to benchmarks of achieved performance."
