The National Campaign to Restore Civil Rights denounces two rulings and voices strong concern about the future of diversity in education.  The Campaign reacts to a pair of critical rulings in Parents Involved in Community Schools v. Seattle School District and Meredith v. Jefferson County Board of Education, in which the Supreme Court held that local school districts may not take voluntary steps to overcome racial inequality and unequal educational opportunities.
