Gay-Rights Activists Say Their Struggle Continues

This year's Equality Forum celebrated heroes of the gay-rights movement-the pioneers who first demanded fair treatment, the icons in film and politics, the torch carriers of today.
And some of those who attended yesterday's closing day events want to ensure that people know their struggle continues.
"Forty years ago, there was edge. Now it's gone, and there's still so much to be righteously indignant about," said John Paul Deley, 47, of Washington, ticking off issues such as the military's "Don't ask, don't tell" policy, the controversy over same-sex marriage, and the need for more AIDS research.
